Afternoon Tea

The AfternoonTea, in aid of the Homeless, held in the Memorial Hall on Saturday the 12th of January, was a great success. Food was in abundance ; seats were at a premium. The "homegrown" entertainment was varied, excellent music from harp and fiddle, songs and dances from the younger generation and poems and monologues from the adults. The grand sum of £422 was raised. Many thanks to all who contributed in any way, making food, helping to serve or adding to the entertainment.
