Children in Need

This year, to support Children in Need, the Junior Church members decided to hold a sponsored Blindfold Goal Scoring Event. Dylan, Amber, Libby, Callum, Francis and Alex and Georgie all gathered at the school field at 4 p.m. on Thursday 15th November to accept the challenge. Dylan bravely took the first turn at goal then each took a turn as goalie and blindfold shooter. Despite some wayward balls, the grand total of 18 goals was reached. Everyone enjoyed the challenge, including some adults. Unfortunately Pudsey Bear did not put in an appearance. The footballers will be round gathering in their sponsor money, if you have not put your name on the sponsor sheet there is still time to do so.
